Waist Belt Body Warmer Features

The Waist belt Body warmer is made out of 3mm neoprene that fits flexibly and comfortably around the waist and is fixed in position with adjustable Velcro tabs. Stitched into the neoprene is the really clever bit that keeps you warm. There are two EXO2 flexible polymer panels containing thousands of conductive particle chains and evenly spaced along each panel are electrodes through which a very low electrical current is passed.

The charge energizes the conductive particles, which get agitated and start to move around. This breaks up the particle chains and increases the resistance in the panel and as the resistance increases so does the temperature – up to a maximum of 42 degrees centigrade. It runs off of a small 12v battery housed in a pocket on the belt and lasts for over two hours with a totally safe current level that allows the pads to get no hotter than a comfortable 42°C. There are no complicated controls and no risks of overheating so the unit is perfectly safe. The system includes battery and charger although it is possible to run the system on any 12v supply.
