The Pulse 10 is Fishers most economical boat towed metal detector and is in use by military, law enforcement, commercial, and salvage divers worldwide. It's low cost and large detection area make this detector an excellent choice for commercial operations, recreational and professional treasure hunting.

The claim-to-fame of this pulse induction metal detector is it's ability to ignore minerals in the environment while maintaining high sensitivity to all metal targets. The Pulse 10 is not affected by the minerals in salt water, coral, rocks with a high iron content, or magnetic (black) sand; all of which drive conventional detectors crazy. Also, the detection range is unaffected by the medium between the metal detector and the metal target. Performance does not change whether detecting through air, water, silt, sand, or solid coral.

The Pulse 10 system includes an 18 inch search coil with attached 150 feet of cable, tow fish, and a top-side control unit. The control unit features high/low sensitivity switch (for pinpointing targets), with both meter and audio readouts to indicate the detection of metal objects. Options include 300 foot tow cable, UA-2 altimeter, and RS232 data output. The system is powered by two 12 volt batteries with a total power consumption of only 8 watts.

Pulse 10 Options

300' Cable:

For towing at deeper depths, the Pulse 12 can be purchased with an additional 150 feet of cable for a total cable length of 300 feet.

DDW-1 Deep Dive Wing (depressor wing for deep water towing):

RS232 Output Interface:

This option converts the Pulse 12 readout information into a format (ASCII) that can be read by a computer (interface cable provided). Included with this option is an input jack on the Pulse 12 control box where your GPS system can be connected. The Pulse 12 readout information and the boat's GPS position can then be sent to the computer. It is necessary to have software for your computer, which allows the input information to be displayed, manipulated, and stored.

0-5 vdc analog output:

0-5vdc analog output option provides the Pulse 12 readout information in a form for input into a chart recorder.
